Everyone had a great time at Darlington, Orangeburg went in #7 from last year, and came out this year #5. Great Job to all of the Bracket Racers. Guy Farman had trouble with his car and didn't think he would be able to run on Sat., but all of the teams pitched in and worked until 4am Sat. morning and had him ready to run. Great team work.
At the end of the day, we had 2 of our racers in the finals, GJ (driving Dave Snell's) car, got runner up in the finals. Timmy Clifton, Jr. also went to the finals in the Junior Dragsters, he also came out as runner up. Way to go GJ and Timmy.
All of the racers did a GREAT job, and we had great team work by all.
A "Special Thanks" goes out to Leon Hollaway for keeping everyone well feed. Once again this year, Leon didn't see much of the racing, because he was busy at the grill. Leon we would like to thank you for all you do for us at Orangeburg.
